Researcher Grants

The Organising Committee will offer 10 merit-based grants for attendees from low-income countries providing reimbursement of the travel and accommodation expenses up to 800 Euro and will waive the registration fee to support their participation. The selection will be made based on the scientific merit of applicant’s submission(s) and on the applicant’s circumstances.

To apply for the grant, candidate must email a completed “Researcher Grant Application Form” accompanied by the abstract of the accepted/submitted paper to the Congress coordinator Dr. Said Zouhdi, sz@ccr.jussieu.fr. The subject line of the email should contain the text: "Metamaterials’07 Researcher Grant Program -- LASTNAME", with the LASTNAME replaced by the applicant’s last name.

The grant application should contain an explicit commitment that if the grant is awarded, the balance of the delegate’s expenses for attending the Congress will be covered by his/her institution or from other sources.

All the grant application documents must be received by 12 April 2007. Applicants will be notified about the status of their applications by 14 May 2007.
